Incubator Overview: Nova Creed
In this article, we deep dive into our latest incubator project Nova Creed; clarifying key dates and the eligibility criteria for PRYZ holders.
What is Nova Creed?
Nova Creed is an immersive, NFT & play-to-earn gaming universe set in a distant region of space, but built on the Polygon network.
The 4 core elements of the “Novaverse” are as follows…
- An immersive and rewarding series of play to earn games
- Alien & Spaceship NFT Collections which will be used to play the games
- Native tokens $ICE & $FUEL used to power the Nova Creed economy
- A community-governed globally aspiring brand
Game Overview
With a series of different games and modes, participating in the Novaverse will require skill and tactics to grow your fleet and your crew. This will help you to access bigger rewards and exciting unlock-able content.
Starting with Ice Hunt, a PVE (Player Versus Environment) arcade space-shooter. Heading into space, your mission will be to shoot asteroids and collect rewards, dodge enemies and return your bounty to local space stations.
During gameplay, you can earn $FUEL and $ICE, the core blocks of the Nova Creed economy. Use $FUEL to send your ships on salvage missions, collect ship components, and build or upgrade your fleet. whilst earning $FUEL is guaranteed only the top 3 scorers each day will get ICE.
As well as playing the mini-games, you’ll also need a Nova Creed Avatar NFT to build and upgrade your ships. Avatars can each build or upgrade one ship per month. Nova Creeds Avatars can also be staked to earn $FUEL.
To encourage trading and ensure all NFT avatars have value, a role and ranking system has been implemented into all of the NFT avatars.

NFT Overview — The Genesis Collection
At the core of the Novaverse is the Genesis collection, containing 4321 unique avatars, or “Nova Creeds”- all stationed on the space station Elonius V. These will be needed to crew your ships and play the upcoming series of mini-games.
Each Nova Creed avatar comes with its own Rank and Role which affects the utilities and benefits of your in-game experience. In the future, you will also be able to clone (breed) new Nova Creed NFTs to bolster your crew and progress.
NFT Overview — Generation 1 Ships
Spaceships are core to the Nova Creed economy.
With 18 different ships to choose from, you can build, upgrade and trade them to collect a full fleet. Explore the differences between the different ships’ capabilities across the different species who built them.
Each ship will have different configurations, with varying levels of fuel, attack, defence and speed, differentiating each and every Class from all six species.
Ships can be used to play interactive games, and will soon be able to compete in head to head Player versus Player (PVP) matches against fellow players. Ships can also be used on salvage missions to collect components, or in our upcoming turn based strategy mode — Fleet Wars. think Clash of Clans in Space!
On acquiring your Nova Creed avatar NFTs, to get the best experience within the Novaverse, you will be needing a spaceship to participate in the interactive Ice Hunt game. Unlike so many other P2E games, Ice Hunt puts YOU in control.
You’ll be at the helm shooting asteroids, collecting ice, fending off enemies and dodging collisions. All the while, you’ll need to check your health and energy levels, and ensure you’re dropping off your collected ice back to the base station or, for a bonus multiplier, one of the two other space stations further out into space.

Nova Economy
$FUEL and $ICE will form the core blocks of the Nova Creed economy; Facilitating in-game rewards to in-game upgrades.
What is $ICE Token?
$ICE is an ERC-20 governance token for the Novaverse. Holders will be able to claim rewards through several routes including staking, playing the game and building ships in-game, and participating in key governance votes.
$ICE will initially be available to buy through Quickswap, and made available on other exchanges in due course to improve accessibility into the ecosystem.
As a game player, you will also be able to earn a share of 50,000,000 $ICE tokens committed to Ice Hunt, and more as the Novaverse expands.
The goal with the $ICE token is to ensure players are incentivized to continue diversifying their crews and their ships to optimise performance over time. The key movements of tokens and assets within the Ice Hunt game are represented in the flowchart below.
The mechanisms described above have two main goals:
- To reward players for interacting with Nova Creed while simultaneously providing incentives to hold on to tokens so additional rewards can be claimed.
- To decentralise the ownership and governance of Nova Creed.
What is $FUEL Token?
$FUEL tokens are an in-game reward mechanism that can be spent to perform actions, or used in various game modes throughout the Novaverse.
Utilities will include
- Running Missions
- Building ships
- Competing in Fleet Wars
- Breeding/Cloning
- Participating in PVP battles
Nova Creed does not sell $FUEL to players directly.
$FUEL can be earned by playing the game in Player versus Environment (PvE) mode. In future you’ll also be able to earn $FUEL in the the PvP Arena. You will also be able to earn $FUEL by staking your NFTs, when you’re not using them in game.
Project Roadmap
Stage I
Ice Hunt: release and additonal development — ETA: Mid Q2
Development and Release of the first Nova Creed series game “Ice Hunt”. Adding new dynamics and additional features for players to use and interact with.
Nova Marketplace development and release — ETA: Q2
Development and release of a native marketplace, dedicated to the Novaverse. This will include a series of perks for owners that trade on the platform.
NFT Cloning & Breeding — ETA: Q3
As the player base grows, breeding will be introduced to the Nova Creed Avatars, to match the player base and demand. In-house artists will be working on the artwork throughout Q2 to create an exciting array of new species.
PVP Battles — ETA: Late Q3
Release of PVP Battles, a high octane, competitive game mode in addition to the PvE mode of Ice Hunt. This will pit you against other players and Nova Creed owners in head to head space battles.
Stage II
Fleet Wars — ETA: Q4 2022
Development and release of Fleet Wars, a turn based strategy game with higher demands and rewards.
Merchandise — Commencing Q3
The Nova team intend to release a series of merchandise. Plans for this include graphic novels, 3D models / figurines and movie quality posters.
New Missions — ETA: Q3+
New missions will be aded throughout 2022, designed to test your crews and ships abilities to the max, offering unique in game assets such as skins, mods, upgrades and boosts for your ships & crew.
Stage III +
Species centric mini-games — ETA Q1 2023
Enhanced development of full suite of mini-games modelled off arcade classics but based very much in Nova Creed lore. Each will feature rewards and items interoperable between each other, and with their own special function within the overall economy.

From tech pioneers to NFT fanatics, and the CEO of a major UK startup. The team behind Nova Creed has a plethora of expertise.
Yossarian AKA “The Brains”
Yossarian is currently CEO at an award-winning software company, with customers all over the world. He has a Masters in Chemical Engineering, loves learning languages and is fascinated by the processes of learning languages. When he’s not plotting the next move for Nova Creed, he can usually be found ferrying his children to various sporting events or sleepovers or with his nose in a book (Yoss has run a popular book club for over a decade now).
Red AKA “The Wild Card”
Red’s previous roles include heading up the product team of a UK tech startup. He has a Masters in Literature and is a self-taught developer. He’s annoyingly detail orientated, and loves baking, epic sc-fi, Bojack Horseman and NFTs… He’s been into crypto since 2018 which has slowly consumed his life, and is now regularly berated by his girlfriend for spending too much time staring at candlestick charts and OpenSea listings.
Outside of the core team, Nova will aslo be working closely with third parties to help bring the vision to life. This includes the award winning artists who have worked for the BBC, Nickelodeon & Cartoon Network. As well the designer from the infamous Battlestar Galactica.
The PRYZ Team will also be closely advising Nova Creed as part of the Incubation.

Nova Creed will be making the 30% committed to Staking available over a 65 month period. One quarter (50,000,000) of the P2E Gaming quotient will be dedicated to our launch game Ice Hunt, with the remaining 150,000,000 reserved for PVP Battles, Fleet Wars and other species specific games planned for the future

In response to the market crash due to the recent Russia / Ukraine War, we will be halving the entry requirements for the Incubator tiers on this project. As a result, the tier entry requirements for Nova Creed are as follows:
Enthusiast — $250 of PRYZ token
VIP — $1000 of PRYZ token
Inner Circle — $2500 of PRYZ token

Staking is essential to confirm your tier. For example, if you hold 2000$ of PRYZ for the VIP tier but are not staked in the incubator, then you will not be allocated a pre-sale whitelist. A specific token value requirement for staking will be announced via Telegram closer to the incubator snapshot date to take into account market conditions.
H’s Take
I personally believe that the implementation of NFT’s into play to earn ecosystems will play a VITAL role in carving the path towards the future of gaming as we know it.
With this sector very much in its early adoption stage yet already worth billions. I like to refer to it as the “baby” saga, before the “daddy” saga. Like the early stages of Web 2 and the .com “boom”.
Nova Creed have thought through their ecosystem from every possible angle. From brand identity, through to a sustainable virtual economy and series of games with no boundaries for expansion.
With a strong vision for the Novaverse and a successful entrepreneurial background, I believe the Nova team have the passion, drive, and determination required to make this one of the top P2E ecosystems in the next decade.
